Last couple of weeks

It seems that I have acid reflux. Happy 40th to me. It got so bad that I ended up in the ER on Jan 4th. I have to tell u that this is the worest pain I have ever felt. It pretty much brought my life to a stand-still. I am on a diet of pudding, rice, peas & potatoes. I just added chicken into the mix this weekend. It has helped me reach me new year's goal to lose weight.
I am happy to say that the meds are starting to work (after 3 weeks!). Bloodwork tomorrow, follow up with the doc next week. And an upcoming battle with insurance to pay for the meds coming up. I will keep you posted.

My birthday weekend, mom took me out to a comedy club. We had a great time. Lots of laughs.
