Two days after surgery

My bruises are already healing. Very sore, but the pain meds are doing their job.
It is nice to eat and not have pain.

Morning after surgery

Well yesterday was it. All went well. Vital signs have been good, and I am holding a weight at 127lbs. Hope to gain some back over the next two weeks. Slept pretty good. I am sure the pain meds helped.
Thank you to everyone that stopped by yesterday. It means more than you know.

Surgery is Today

We will be heading off to MVH this morning. No makeup and it doesn't seem to be a good hair day. Can't wait to see how I look afterwards. :)

Surgery update

Surgery is scheduled for Thursday morning at 10:15 am. I will be in the hospital overnight. Should be home on Friday.

Surgery this week!

Made a trip to the surgeon today. Another trip to the doctor in the snow. Looks like I will be having surgery this Wednesday or Thursday. It will be at Kettering or Miami Valley, whichever is the quickest. I will have to stay at least one night, maybe two depending on my pancreas enzyme levels, which are currently elevated do to my gallbladder. Wow, this has been 2 of the longest months of my life.
I will keep everyone posted.

Jer brewing

Jer is brewing hard cider for the first time in our new kitchen. It is is going to have a great deal of spice in the mix. Next batch might be coffee stout. Cheers!

Gallbladder issues

Ok, I don't think that I have acid reflux. It seems that I have crystals in by gallbladder and it is only working at 9%. Yep, 9% - no wonder it hurts every time I eat. I see a surgeon on Monday. Wish me luck.

February Snow

Well, another Feb and another big snow storm. It looks like we got six inches last night and it is still snowing. I will post pics of Jer shoveling later. :)

Great News!

My little sister, Suzie, is pregnant! I am going to be an aunt. I can not wait. The baby is due in August. I will let everyone know as soon as we find out if it is a boy or a girl. Can not wait to spoil the little one.
