Eagles

This morning, instead of doing my run around the neighborhood. Jeremy dropping me off five miles from the Springvally wetlands. 

He drove on to take pictures of the water foul. We met up later to go and see the Bald Eagels nest by the river. 

I am so happy to see Eagles back in our area.

Here is the huge nest in a tree across the river from us.

Faye and I had a wonderful time visiting Mom and Jack. Can't wait to see them again.

Another day in paradise

We had a birthday party on Saturday.

On Sunday we sat out on the patio with the wildlife, including a snake.

Sunday afternoon, we hung out at Sumter Landing.

Today we are relaxing on the lanai. We'll be shopping later. ;)

Birthday party in Florida

Faye and I flu down to Florida to surprise mom for her birthday. We showed up during trivia. Mom was so surprised and happy to see us. Thanks for helping with the surprise, Jack and Carol. :)

We went out to dinner Thursday night.

Friday night, Thai food and drinks on the square. 

We also spent the day getting ready for mom's party.

The persistent bird

Yesterday we found the start of a nest on our light out front. We took it down to discourage the bird from finishing.

Today we found a complete nest.

Not sure what kind of bird built the nest, but it looks like we will have little chics soon.

Good Friday

In preparation for Easter weekend my team at work had a carry in.

I made chocolate eggs in a nest.

Dara made colorful devilled eggs. 

Nikki made rainbow pasta salad.

And the Bunnicorn made an appearance.

It was a great day at work :)
