Last hike of the year

Jeremy and I went to Charleston falls yesterday for our last hike of the year together.

We had a house full in the evening.

There was much laughter and cheer. 

It was a very merry Christmas.

To celebrate the holidays and the end of chemo, we went to Sephora to have our makeup done. 

Justin did Patty's makeup. He did a great job. Love the purple eyeshadow.

After opening our packages and drinking our Mimosas it was time to start the Christmas Bomba. 

This has become a must have tradition in our house. It just wouldn't be Christmas without it!

This year we did something a little different, a class at Pinot's palette as our gift to our family on my mom's side.

Monday started with shopping and drinks at Kroger. :)

Tuesday, we wore our hats around.

The start of our Christmas week

Jer and I are in Cincy this weekend. This is our annual Cincy weekend and the official start of our Christmas week.

Frist, dinner at Sotto.

Then the concert, Over the Rhine. They were amazing! 

We had midnight fries at Metrople afterwards.

On the 10th day of Beermas

Maumee Bay Blitzen, well we may be a bit blitz but this is a great beer! You can really taste the honey.

Ok, we are a bit behind on our beer tasting. Tonight, 2XMas. Great beer, lots of flavor. 

You can really taste the fig. Jer loves it, the hops are a bit much for me. 

On the 11th day my true love gave me BEER!

Christmas Carrol

Last weekend we went to see a Christmas Carrol at the Victoria theater. Afterwards we stopped by Carollion Park to see the lights on the bell tower. 

The play was wonderful and so was the park. 

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

The twelve beers of Chistmas

For the next 12 days Jer and I will be trying a beer a day. There are so many great holiday ales out, and we want to try as many as possible.

Storm Large in Portland

The concert was amazing. Something about seeing a preformer in their home town. 

It really jump started my Christmas spirit. She opened with Little Drummer Boy, my mom's fav. She also played Turn Around Bright Eyes, which reminds me of my step mom. She ended the concert with Somebody to Love by Queen. 

We walked back to the hotel afterwards. 

So sad that we are leaving.
