Another busy day

No rain, how about some yard work? Jeremy liked the pavers so well that we decided to add them around all the flower beds. Oh, and add a water feature.
The new fountain.

Pavers next to the driveway.

More on this side.

And more pavers!

Look at what we did today

Jeremy decided that today was the last day for the ivy that had taken over our front flower bed. So, he started to rip it out and I headed out to get plants.
What do you think?

Next is adding the pavers to the other side of the walk way.

We r ok - hail storm

Wow that was horrible! Golf ball and softball sized hail hitting the house. We were scared out of our minds. Jeremy's car is damaged, our neighbors have broken windows, and there is another storm due to hit at midnight.
They look small in the picks because they exploded on impact. I have a whole one in the freezer.

Wish us luck tonight.

Another awsome day in NYC

We started our morning at Maison. Slow and leisurely.
My coffee was smiling and the waffle was great.

Then we headed off to the Brooklyn Botanical garden.
Pictures to come.

Jer stayed at the park while I went to my workshop. It was great fun. Really need to make more art.

After the workshop, Jer and I meet up to head over to the Brooklyn Brewery. Wow, that place is a college kids heaven. Not our idea of a good time. So we headed off to dinner early.
Rosa Mexicana!
Drinks were good, food was great, and company was better.

Jer goes home tomorrow. I will miss him being here with me.

It wad fun. Spiderman and the goblin went flying out above the crowd and the set design was great.

Museum day 1 of 2

Yesterday was Jer's birthday! Happy B-day honey.

We started our morning at an Irish pub for breakfast.

Then we walked thru the park to the Natural History museum. Where we found this mask that reminds us of playing "boo" with Liam. I can already hear the hiccups.

We tried to go to the Guggenheim, but it is closed on Thursdays.

So we headed over to the Frick.

Dinner at Nobu

Jer and I ate at a great Japanese restaurant last night, Nobu on 57th street. The place was beautiful and the food was even better.
Winter Berry & Cucumber martinis

Tempura Shrimp

Sushi!

The interior was layered with textures and felt like a nest that could have been made by a dragon.

A year ago I could not imagine being able to eat a meal like this. So happy to be here. :)

Bus tour in NYC

Took a bus tour of the city. It was a beautiful day and a great way to see the city.

I ask myself this all the time. BTW - the A stands for "are".
I like the little girls dance as an answer. :)
