Amos Lee & David Gray concert

Tuesday night Jer and I went to see Amos Lee & David Gray at the new Rose Music center in Huber Heights. 

Rachael Yamagata opened. 

Amos was amazing. His version of Zombie by the Cranberries is amazing. Gives me goosebumps. 

David Gray was great too. We left at 11:30 and he was still playing. It was a very long concert. 

Next week...Blondie.

Friday in Cincy

Friday morning we slept in then had breakfast at Metropole. 

We were off for a walk after checking out if the hotel. 

First stop Union terminal downtown. It is closed on the weekends so this was the first time that we could walk thru. 

After the terminal we walked across the bridge to Covington. It started to rain and we were soaked to the bone by the time we made it back to Cincy.

We made our way to the museum center.

Then over to Krohn conservatory. 

After dinner at Rookwood, were Jer had to share his wine with a fly, we headed home.

Midnight fries

We had a great time at the concert last night. But the evening didn't stop there. 

We went back to Metrople for our tradition of midnight fries. Yum!

We do this so much that the bartender, Cathrine, ask us as soon as we sat down if we were having Midnight fries. 

It is a great tradition, I strongly encourage everyone to try it. #midnightfries

Hart part duo

After dinner we were so excited for the show.

Once they let us in we found a place to hang out.

The opening act is amazing, Matt Anderson. So amazing.

Beth was great. Best show yet!

Dinner at Sotto

We are in Cincy! 

First a drink at metropole.

Then dinner at at Sotto. This underground Italian restaurant that rocked my world!

It looked like we were in a pre-war bunker. Civil war that is. 

But the drinks were amazing.

And the food...well let's just say that I would knock someone down and keep them down if they tried to take it from me.

Brisket ravioli! OMG, so light and not gummy.

They make them on site.

Main course was Brazino. Could not have had a better dinner. 

On to the show!

Heart to Hart week

Went to see Heart at the Fraze last night with a few friends. We had a great time!

Thursday night Jeremy and I will be seeing Beth Hart in Cincy. It is a Heart to Hart week. :)

Taylor Swift concert

We had a wonderful time! Vance Joy opened.

We had glow sticks! And the energy of two ten year olds. 

And magic bracelets that changed colors with the music.

No bad blood here :)

 

Pre-TS concert

Having a ball. The girls are so excited. I've never seen so many women in one place. The Chardonnay and sugar is flowing. 

We are ready!

Visiting Jane in Charlotte

Landed in Charlotte yesterday. Had a wonderful dinner with old friends, then Jane and I stayed up talking until midnight. 

Today we took our time with our coffee, then it was off to do a self guided walking tour of the public art in downtown Charlotte.

After we all the public art stops, we went to the Modern Art Museum.

Later it was dinner with the fam, now we are just chilling. Having a wonderful time.
