We headed to Racine early in the morning, to make our 12:30 tour of the SC Johnson building.
We had about an hour once we arrive in Racine, so we drove out to Wind Point to look at the lake.

Windy but beautiful.
Than to a little cafe for a coffee to warm us up. Best pumpkin cream cheese coffee cake ever!

Off to the tour. Not many photos, they were not allowed.
This is the Golden Rondelle, a theater created for the world fair, were the film "to be alive" was played. We were able to watch the film. It won many awards in its day and was the hot of the fair.

The parking garage of the Frank Lloyd Wright building. Wish I worked there!

The interior (not my image)

The tribute building to Sam Johnson.

The Ohio border! We crosses it about 12:45 am. Home around 1:30am.

The cats were happy to see us. Have stuck to us like glue since we have been home. :)
It was a long trip, but worth it.
Road trip anyone?
