Second day in Cincy

If you've never had the pleasure of staying in a 21c Museum hotel, you need to try one! There are only 4 in the US, one just happens to be in Cincinnati, Ohio.
They have Rookwood tile in the shower. Not only do the walls have ears, they also have noses, boobs and mouths.












After a wonderful breakfast of eggs and grits, we went on an underground tour of Cincy.

There were two high points on the tour, first was the tombs under a church in Over the Rhine.






The second was the beer tunnels. This is where they would brew and store beer in the late 1800's.










After the tour Jer and I went to Rookwood for lunch, and we are now heading home in the rain.




It was a wonderful mini vacation. I would encourage everyone to re-look at the cities close to them and take advantage of the local culture. Sometimes the best things are right under your nose.
