Patty and I were up early this cold morning to walk in the Making Strides 5k.
We started at the 5/3 Field downtown.
Pink hair and tutus were in order.
The pink ribbon girls were there in a big pink fire truck.
Patty signed it marker her three week anniversary of her last chemo treatment.
I sighed in memory of mom's 20yr survival anniversary.
Three very important people in my life have been touched by this disease. I am thankful that they all are survivors.
How are you supporting the survivors in your life? A hug is all they need.
